Rumtse Tsomoriri Trek

Arrive early morning into Leh by your flight, and transfer to Leh Guest House. Full day
rest to acclimatize at the altitude of 3500 mtr.

Local visit cum acclimatization Thiksey Hemis and Matho monastery overnight Leh Guest House

Leh- Rumtse: After breakfast 2 hrs drive  Rumtse - Kyamar (04/05 hrs). Today we have a short walk on a rather flat terrain to aid acclimatization, overnight camp.

Elevation gain / loss: +288m / -0m

Kyamar- Tisaling Distance: 13.01 km Elevation gain / loss: +779m / -379m

We begin with gradual ascent towards our first pass of Kyamar La (4800 m), which gives a spectacular view of the Changthang range. Here we might come across nomads with their herds of sheep, goats and yaks. After continued towards Mandalchan La (4850 m). From this pass it's an easy descend to the camping site at the pastureland of Tisaling.Overnight camp.

Tisaling to Panganugu 6 hrs Distance: 14. Km Elevation gain / loss: +370m / -656m

After breakfast continued toward your third pass Shibuk la 4900 mtr, magnificent view of surrounding mountains and Tsokar Lake. After go down towards the valley accompanied by the shrill whistles of the shy and active marmots, then continued towards Tsokar lake, camp near the lake. Overnight camp.

Ponganagu - Nuruchan : 5-6 hrs Distance: 17.5 km Elevation gain / loss: +170m / -140m

This morning we follow a dusty jeep road along Tsokar lake, Along the salty shores of the lake, we have a rare impeccable opportunity to see some of the endangered migratory birds of the world, keeping to a barren land until Nuruchan. Overnight camp.

Nuruchan- Gyamar Barma: 7-8 hrs Distance: 19.1 km Elevation gain / loss: +850m / -329m

Today it’s a tough day, We will cross the icy cold stream in Nuruchan before gradually ascending Horlam Kongka La (4900 m). From the pass,  we will encounter several typical Tibetan nomads with their flock of yaks, sheep and pashmina goats. Then  we will continue to ascend the Kyamayuru La (5410 m);  From the pass we descend gradually to the valley towards our campsite at Gyamar Barma (5150 m) Overnight camp.

Gyamar Barma – Gyamar Time: 2-4 hrs Distance: 5.8 km Elevation gain / loss: +220m / -255m

After breakfast continued towards Kartse la 5280 mtr, on the way we can see a lot of
Yak, Ascending slowly in the thin air of the plateau, we will eventually reach the pass. The trail leads gradually down to the lush green valley of the Gyamar. Overnight camp.

Gyamar – Korzok Time: 6-7 hrs Distance: 16.4 km Elevation gain / loss: +310m / -895m

After breakfast gradually ascend towards the last and highest pass of the trek Yalung Nyalung la 5450 mtr, from the top magnificent view of Tsomoriri Lake and beautiful view of snowcapped mountains then descend steeply 02 hrs to arrive Korzok village near Tsomoriri Lake. Overnight camp.

Korzok - Leh (7 hrs drive) after breakfast drive back to Leh on the way chumathang hot spring and Rong valley with some beautiful villages on the way stop for tea lunch on the way overnight Leh.

Leh - Delhi. Early morning transfer to eh airpot to catch your flight to Delhi.
